Week 5: Gratitude

I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of my internship. I met so many amazing people throughout the summer and they all had their own stories and different jobs that I got to learn about. I am most thankful for meeting my supervisor(s) because they taught me so much and welcomed me with open arms and trusted me to help them. I have met some of the nicest people through my internship and I am grateful to have met them and learned about what they do with Kaiser Permanente. I am grateful for my time with Employee Wellness and Health Education and will always be glad to visit or volunteer when they need me!

I am thankful for this class as a whole because it taught me so many things that were helpful now, could have been helpful in the past, and will definitely be of great use in the future. I know I am prepared to apply for any job or internship with a great application, resume, and knowledge of how to create a cover letter. Additionally, I also know how to act at my job now and any future jobs I have because of the work readiness skills, but also because I have learned about myself through the quizzes and reflections we have done in class. I have learned to prioritize things in life, and prioritize values and strengths to become a better person in the work place and in life.

  1. Caroline, I agree with you. I know I may sound ungrateful and I may whine the summer class I know that I will change my future forever.
