My ultimate career goal is to be a politician, but I would first like to be a lobbyist. In 10 to 15 years I want to have finished school, and be figuring out which types of companies I enjoy lobbying for the most.
According tohttp://www1.salary.com/Lobbyist-Salary.html "lobbyist salaries may vary depending on a number of factors including industry, company size, location, years of experience and level of education." However, the average annual salary for a lobbyist is around $100,000.
I want to be living in a house, and hopefully be married, so I expect my expenses to be around 50,000 +/- per year depending on where I am living. My goal is to be saving anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000 per year, which means by the time I am 65 I will have saved between 175,000 and 350,000.
Comparing the incomes and expenses makes me appreciate all that my parents give me, and how much everything that they give me effects them and their future.
I like the way you went of the script and gave away more about you. Your expenses seem rational and logical. However, I am wondering where do you have sources to support your budget?
