week #5 coming to a close!
I am grateful that I have enough money to survive in this world. This summer I am grateful that I am going to Hawaii in a week. In class I learned how to be safer with money by budgeting it. Doing so will help me in the future. Through the 5 weeks of my internship I've notice I've been more dedicated than I was. I managed my time better which made things a lot easier and not so stressful. I learned that I can get stuff done faster if I manage my time well. The discoveries made me realize who I am. Especially setting goals for myself, instead of keeping them in my mind, putting them on paper makes a huge difference. Communication is something I really got out of this class, just hearing how important it was to communicate well made me realize I had to get better at that in order to succeed for the real world. The career readiness skill had me reflect on how important honesty is. I wasn't the most honest person to my supervisor and I came to understand that honesty can reflect who you are as a person. I feel honored that I was able to attend this class. It really helped me to understand life out there in the real world and I am very thankful for that.

I too found it useful to actually write my goals down on paper as a way to spring them into action.
