The total for my future expenses are 60-84,000. I know this is logical because my primary sources for information are at education cost helper and cost owl.
According to the physical therapist I know, I can make up to 81,110 each year in my future job as a physical therapist. My education to get that job will cost 52,000 total for all years of training.
I want to save around 30,000 for my rainy day fund each year, and 35,000 for my retirement each year. If I save 35,000 for retirement each year, by the time I am 65 years old I will have 1,330,000 plus interest.
Comparing my future and expenses makes me think that I have a lot of hard work ahead of me. I haven't factored in having a family yet but that will make it even harder. Im going to have to put in a lot of hours to achieve this goal.
Interesting idea about your family; if you decide to have one I could see that being a potential change to your plan. Makes me think a little more about my blog.
