What I do when I have a designated time to be somewhere (I'm always late too) is set like, 5 alarms in a row and place them around my room, or right outside my door, so I have to get up and physically turn them off. It's a pain, but it gets me up, and on time!

I have similar goals as you! But be careful about your tardiness habit because that is something that could most definitely get one fired.
